Christmas = Off Week

If you started our program on time, you should be on your first off week. The program was designed so that you had your off week the same week as Christmas. Make sure you do atleast 3 cardio sessions this week, with 3 core sessions. You should not be lifting, this is a week for your body to recharge and regrow from the strength excerices you did over the last 3 weeks. Any questions or injuries, email coach right away.

It Is Not Too Late to Start

If you have not received the fitness program, you need to start it soon. We had 15 guys that were at the fitness program meeting two Monday's ago, leaving about 10 players who are potentially not doing our strength and conditioning program. Email Spencer or coach to get the program emailed to you. Participation in the UNCG strength and conditioning program will have an effect on the starting line up for Duke on January 31st.

Phase 1 - Week 2 Begins

You should be on Phase 1 - Week 2 this week. If you have any confusion over the exercises or any injuries email coach. The feedback so far is that the program is hard, but not time consuming. Remember, we all succeed together, their are no superstars, no exceptions. Everyone must be working to get fitter, stronger, and faster. If you are not doing this program, then you are hurting yourself, and worse, the team.

Rush-10 Day Membership Coupons

The Rush is currently running a 10 day trial membership promotion. Since the UNCG fitness facility will be running random hours over the break, some players were discussing the promotions that The Rush has periodically. If you would like a coupon email coach or click on the Rush and print one off. We can only grow as a team, if we work hard as a team, and that starts this break with our off season workout program.
